Labrador Retrievers are affectionate and lovable dogs with an amiable temperament. They love to play and they thrive on human attention, as such they are not suited to people with a lack of time. Labrador Retrievers have been known to be destructive (e.g. destructive chewing) when left on their own for too long.
Labrador Retrievers make excellent family pets as they enjoy feeling part of the family and get on well with children. Labrador Retrievers are an intelligent and obedient breed of dog and are easily trained, however it is best to start training them as puppies.
Labrador Retrievers are a handsome breed of dog that is sturdy and large in size. They range in colour from black to yellow and chocolate and have a short, sleek coat.
